Lack of cleaning staff called a health hazard at Australian hospital

A hospital in Australia has so few cleaning personnel that infectious patients are being left in corridors due to the lack of clean rooms, say nurses at the facility. Union cleaners had threatened to strike over low wages and the lack of staff but agreed not to until at least June 1. The hospital will be inspected by public officials May 16.
