E.W. Scripps plans $20 million push to boost digital ad sales

E.W. Scripps, as part of a drive to boost online ad sales in markets where it has both a TV station and a newspaper, this year will hire 100 salespeople and upgrade its ad technology. Scripps, which is committing $20 million to the effort, currently runs TV outlets in 19 markets and newspapers in 13 markets.
