Gevo reports progress in addressing issues at Minn. biorefinery

Gevo said it has been making progress in its efforts to eliminate outside microorganisms from the fermentation process at its Luverne, Minn., biorefinery, and equipment changes were made to improve operations. "That is done best without the plant fully running," CEO Patrick Gruber said, emphasizing that such issues in new plants are not unexpected.
