Health services app for teens has backers, critics

New York City's health commissioner is backing an application called Teens in NYC - Protection, which helps teens find clinics and will provide education and resources regarding contraception and STDs. Dr. Thomas Farley says the app just speaks to teens with new communications methods, but groups such as the New York City Parents Union say the city shouldn't endorse programs that ignore the rights of parents.
