Hearing is set for U.K. appeal of law concerning CDS

The EU's top court says it will hear on June 11 the U.K. government's case to overturn a law that permits bans on uncovered credit default swaps linked to sovereign debt. Chief among U.K. concerns is that the law gives too much power to the European Securities and Markets Authority.
