Latest master plan for NYC's Hudson Yards is detailed

Kohn Pedersen Fox's design plans for the Hudson Yards development in New York City is expected to play a role in whether the project will emerge either as a "new Manhattan neighborhood" or "a windswept no-man's-land of mega-buildings," writes Fred Bernstein. "We collaborated with Diller Scofidio + Renfro in turning the Culture Shed 90 degrees from its original orientation, so that as you approach Hudson Yards from the south, you get the elegance of its profile and it becomes a gateway to the central plaza," said KPF architect Bill Pedersen.
