Major brands sign up for Sharethrough in-stream mobile ad platform

Sharethrough is offering an alternative to mobile banners with its new mobile in-stream ad platform. The idea is to provide appealing ad units that resemble sponsored content. PepsiCo, Sauza Tequila and Cruzan Rum are using the service to drive video views on YouTube, and Forbes, Serious Eats and People magazine have signed on as Sharethrough's initial publishing partners.
