Incoming ninth-grade students at a Pennsylvania high school are preparing brief profiles to help their new teachers get to know them. The project, in which teachers also share their profiles with students, is designed to ease students' transition to high school -- helping to improve their chances of graduating. "They will know each other a little more personally and be able to talk more comfortably," said Founders Hall principal Karen Chapman. "High school is such a huge place to these kids, and these relationships start them on a path to success."
