Physicians say they want one source for quality measures

Physician groups told the House Ways and Means Health Subcommittee that doctors want quality measures to come from just one entity, and while they support National Quality Forum Standards, some specialists criticized the organization for being slow to respond to their needs. Physicians said they also need more ways to qualify for value-based payments in Medicare after the sustainable growth rate formula is eliminated.
