Redstation signs on as first customer for Virgin's 100Gbps service

The first customer for Virgin Media Business' 100-gigabits-per-second service is U.K. data center Redstation, which is seeking to support increasing demand for cloud computing. "Businesses are getting more and more data hungry with every passing day. As they become more reliant on cloud services and mobile working technology to run their operations they need faster and more reliable data transfer between sites," said VMB's Jeff Wollen.
