Should schools adopt a common definition of bullying?

Schools use various definitions to describe bullying, which is one of several reasons it is difficult to track and monitor bullying behavior at schools, according to a report released by the American Educational Research Association. The report also notes the trend of gender-based bullying and finds that improving the school climate could be one way to help curb bullying, education reporter Valerie Strauss writes in this blog post.
