Some Calif. legislators propose restoring Medicaid dental benefits

California Senate President Pro Tem Darrell Steinberg is among the state's lawmakers proposing to revive some dental benefits under the state's Medicaid program, Medi-Cal. The federal government would match state funds for current Medi-Cal enrollees and will pay the full cost for newly eligible enrollees under the Affordable Care Act, said Anthony Wright, executive director of Health Access California.
