U.S. researchers examined 142 pediatric patients treated with proton radiotherapy for brain tumors and found that their health-related quality of life ratings were influenced by both disease type and therapy. They also reported that the HRQoL ratings by the patients correlated well with the ratings made by their parents. The findings appear in the Journal of Clinical Oncology.
