Areva could get up to $6.5B from Turkish nuclear contract

Areva could secure up to $6.5 billion from a contract to build a 4.5-gigawatt nuclear plant in Turkey, said Luc Oursel, the company's president and CEO. Areva is part of a Japanese-French consortium that won the contract for the project. The deal will "involve probably 1,500 jobs," Oursel said.
