Comp-time bill passes House

The House on Wednesday passed a bill that would allow private-sector workers to convert their overtime pay into paid time off, so long as their employer agrees to the arrangement. The bill has been touted by House Republicans as a way to give workers more flexibility over their work schedules. Opponents of the bill say it could lead to employers discouraging workers from taking overtime pay.
