Cuba files WTO litigation against Australia over strict tobacco laws

Cuba filed litigation with the World Trade Organization challenging Australia's tobacco-packaging regulations, which prohibit cigarette logos and require packs to be plain olive green with graphic health warnings. The move comes after similar complaints from Honduras, the Dominican Republic and Ukraine. Australia will have a 60-day window to resolve the issue by negotiating with Cuba directly.
