Common household appliances and assorted power tools have come together in robot form under the creative guidance of Mark Haywood, a former police officer. An old radio, outdoor speakers, a DVD player and fans were all part of the four-year build. He used a 3D printer to create the hands. Haywood has brought the robot to a high school's robotic club in Baltimore and hopes it can serve to get kids excited about robotics and keep them off the street.
