Grocery lobbyists fight back on calorie count rules

Rules governing the posting of calorie counts on restaurant menus may be delayed further as pizza chains renew their objections and the Food Marketing Institute lobbies for grocery chains worried about the burden and expense of creating and managing signage for all of their products. FMI is urging President Barack Obama to intervene before the FDA rules are issued.
