Ind. lawmakers query VA Affairs chief on effects of device tax on department

A group of Republican representatives from Indiana sent a letter asking Veterans Affairs Secretary Eric Shinseki to detail how the 2.3% medical device tax would affect the department. The group also asked whether the VA has a contingency plan in place "to address the quality and accessibility of medical devices should costs continue to rise" as a result of the tax.
