Insured losses from April storms may be at least $350M, report says

Insured losses from storms last month are estimated to be at least $350 million, lower than estimated losses during the same month last year, Aon Benfield said in a report. Hail and wind in the Midwest, Plains and Southeast caused most of the damage last month, with $700 million or more in economic losses resulting from at least five events, the report said.
