Schools in China offer Arabic language instruction

Arabic language instruction increasingly is becoming popular in a part of China with a large Muslim population, driven in part by students' desire to secure good jobs after school. In the Ningxia Hui autonomous region, officials have opened Arabic language schools specializing in various levels of instruction. Meanwhile, some private schools have entered the market.
