South Sudan seeks to improve quality of teaching force

An effort is underway in the South Sudan to improve the quality of the country's teachers. Recently about 80 teachers participated in a training programme organised by the South Sudan Teacher Education Program, and some educators say it has made a difference. However, others say that to improve the quality of teachers, the quality of schools and education must be addressed.
