TEPCO warns of potential rise in radiation levels at Japan nuclear plant

A move to transfer radioactive wastewater from leaking underground tanks at the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant in Japan to above-ground storage sites could increase radiation levels at the facility, according to Tokyo Electric Power. The utility had planned to keep levels below 1 millisievert per year, but readings could rise to 7.8 millisieverts, officials said.
