U.S., Japan begin cybersecurity talks in Tokyo

U.S. diplomats and their Japanese counterparts are commencing a two-day meeting on cybersecurity today in an effort to strengthen cooperation between the two nations in an era of rising threats. The negotiations, which are taking place in Tokyo, represent the first bilateral talks between Japan and the U.S. on issues in cyberspace and follow mounting concerns in U.S. defense circles about Chinese cyberspying.
