Veterans struggle to convey skills to employers

Companies looking to hire veterans say they're having trouble identifying qualified candidates based on military experience. "Veterans' resumes are often too wordy and don't explain really what their skills are," said Eric Schelling, director of talent acquisition at Home Depot.
