Judge rules in favor of felon in case brought by SEC

A federal judge recently rejected several fraud counts in a case brought by the government involving Gary Prince, who pleaded guilty to fraud charges in the 1990s. The Securities and Exchange Commission had alleged that Integral Systems, a company where Prince worked, unlawfully neglected to disclose his responsibilities and criminal record. The judge also found that Prince "did not and could not make policy for Integral in any capacity." The judge did, however, determine that Prince violated the accounting bar that was already in place.
