Microsoft has reportedly been developing a set-top box that could compete with the Apple TV and Roku media boxes, Ian Sherr writes, citing people familiar with the matter. The product may incorporate the company's Kinect motion-detection technology, those people said. "But it is unclear whether the company will introduce the device," Sherr notes. A spokesman for Microsoft declined to comment on the report.
