Plastic surgery improves some teenagers' confidence, lives

More than 130,000 plastic surgery patients last year were younger than 18, according to the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. Rhinoplasty, otoplasty and gynecomastia correction are among the most common procedures sought by teens, says plastic surgeon Saied Asfa. Plastic surgery can improve teens' social lives and self-esteem, Asfa said.
