Researchers develop method to detect HIV antibodies

Researchers from the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases have developed a method called neutralization fingerprinting to pinpoint antibodies in patients with HIV that can fight most strains of the disease. The findings could help in the efforts to develop a vaccine for HIV/AIDS. The study was reported in the journal Science.
