Sterility concerns prompt recall of drugs from Fla. compounder

The FDA warned pharmacists and doctors not to use treatments from The Compounding Shop, a specialty pharmacy in Florida, prompting it to notify customers and recall all of its sterile treatments. An inspection of the compounder raised concerns about sterility issues regarding its drugs that could cause bacterial contamination, the FDA said.
