Trial is under way for SynapDx's early autism test

SynapDx is conducting a clinical trial to test its blood-based assay in diagnosing autism in children 18 months or older. The trial, launched last month, involves 660 children at 20 clinical sites. The average age at which autism is detected is 4.5 years, and earlier detection would allow earlier treatment.
