Vt. House gives nod to biotech labeling bill

The Vermont House has given tentative approval for a biotech labeling bill, and a final vote is expected today. The measure will go to the Senate if it is passed. A longtime farmer and lawmaker who opposed the measure said it would restrict productivity gains by grain growers.
