Google's cloud-based music service launches without labels

Google is rolling out its cloud-based music service even though it has failed to persuade any major music labels to sign up for distribution and sales. Music Beta, a free service not yet widely available, lets users load their digital music collections to Google computers, allowing access from any Android-equipped device.
