SARS scientists see vaccine available in two to three years if outbreaks continue

A SARS vaccine is within two to three years of being widely available, scientists gathered in Germany have agreed. They could not agree on the specific vaccine that would succeed, but one scientist said success may depend on a repeat of last year's outbreak to "keep up the pressure for a solution," and another said the solution may lie in a reliance on interferon and similar substances.
