Australian schools consider national exam scores in admissions

A growing number of independent and Catholic schools in Australia are requesting students' NAPLAN test scores as part of their applications for enrolment. Officials say the test scores are part of their "holistic" approach to admissions -- considering all aspects of students' records. Some, however, are questioning whether the requirement could put additional pressure on students.
