Brands report varying success rates with Pinterest, Instagram

More than two-thirds of the top 100 brands are using Instagram -- compared with about three-quarters of brands using Pinterest, according to a Simply Measured study. Some brands are reporting seeing a bigger payoff from Instagram, however, with 67 brands reporting they had 7 million followers between them on Instagram, while 76 brands on Pinterest reported a collective total of 500,000 followers.
