Minn. college focuses on women in STEM

Educators at Minnesota's College of St. Benedict created MapCores -- Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science Research Scholars -- to help female students succeed in these often male-dominated fields. The first women enrolled in the program graduate this year. "I really wanted to try and get more women involved in those disciplines and not in just one but in multiple," said Kris Nairn, associate professor of mathematics at St. Benedict's and St. John's University.
