Aviation bill stalls in Congress

The addition of non-aviation provisions recently dashed hopes for an April passage of a short-term bill that would continue aviation excise taxes and reauthorize the Federal Aviation Administration. Congress has until the end of June to pass either the short-term extension or a long-term bill.
