Time Warner Cable tests ultraspeedy broadband at the Cable Show

Time Warner Cable in its booth at The Cable Show demonstrated DOCSIS 3.0-powered broadband speeds of 290 Mbps downstream and 90 Mbps upstream. The demo, which the cable provider said was the first of its kind outside of a laboratory, involved an Arris CMTS as well as Arris and Motorola cable modems.
