Beauty-device trend gains strength

The U.S. continues to lead in sales growth of beauty devices, a market that saw 20% growth last year, according to research firm Kline Group. "Convenience and a certain economic rationalism are motivating consumers to bring home the beauty experience traditionally provided by aestheticians or physicians," said Karen Doskow, practice-industry manager at Kline's Consumer Products.
