Checkout difficulties scuttle many mobile purchases

About two-thirds of mobile users have attempted purchases on their devices, but most of these have abandoned an attempt due to checkout complications, according to a report by Jumio. Topping the list of complaints mentioned was difficulty entering credit card information, said Marc Barach, chief strategy and marketing officer at Jumio. "Retailers need to adjust for the small screen to make it easy for consumers in the home stretch," he said.
