ESPN to put its clients front and center at upfront

ESPN's upfront presentation this week will again include client testimonials from executives talking about sponsored partnerships with and shows such as "Pardon the Interruption" and "Around the Horn." Among those who will be featured are Peter McDonough, Diageo's chief marketing and innovation officer, and Subway CMO Tony Pace. "The idea was to identify senior clients who were willing to talk about how the relationship they have with ESPN was driving their sales and business goals," said Ed Erhardt, head of global customer marketing and sales at ESPN.
