Steer clear of online debates with nasty reviewers

Avoid getting drawn into debates with customers who leave vicious reviews on Yelp or other customer review sites, says ReputationChanger.com President Michael Zammuto. Respond carefully to negative reviews and avoid engaging with anonymous posters. "If you get into a debate with an anonymous person with a chip on their shoulder, it's not worth it. It will make (the debate) rank higher in searches for your company's name," he says.
