Mass. sees skilled labor shortages as HIT expands

As hospitals in Massachusetts move toward the use of electronic medical records, they are facing a new problem -- finding enough staff that are skilled not only in how the computers work but also in how doctors diagnose and treat diseases. Hospital officials say that shortages of qualified staff in health care technology are significant at almost every level.
