FirstNet board member: Broadband network must work with NG-9-1-1

It is important that the public safety broadband network for first responders be designed to work with next-generation 9-1-1 systems, FirstNet board member Charles Dowd said during a webinar hosted by the National 9-1-1 Office. The integration should allow first responders to see the 9-1-1 texts they are responding to and give them the option to download audio from 9-1-1 calls.
