Part-time workers can rise to top leadership positions

Marks and Spencer's new style director will work two days a week and a new Facebook vice president will put in four days a week, indicating part-time workers can be successful, experts say. "The evidence is clear that when people are able to work flexibly you get the most out of them. There is more job satisfaction and they are more productive," says Cary Cooper of Lancaster University Management School.
