Wyo. turns to telemedicine to boost care access statewide

Three telemedicine programs in Wyoming are helping expand care across the state, starting with the use of a secure video-conferencing tool to promote data exchange among in-state providers. The state's Prison Health Services also uses telemedicine to substantially expand its clinical services, and isolated communities in the state were given access to psychiatric care through the Wyoming Telepsychiatry Pilot Project.
