Calif. district will continue serving in-class breakfasts

The Los Angeles Board of Education recently passed a number of budget measures, including one that supports the continuation of a controversial in-class breakfast program. While the program drew concerns from some educators, officials cited increased participation and other benefits as reasons for salvaging and expanding the program.
