Downtown Salt Lake City to get 2 new hotels

A $65 million mixed-use development is on the way for downtown Salt Lake City that will include a 159-room Hyatt House and a 175-room Courtyard by Marriott. The project also calls for a parking garage and ground-level retail shops. "We think it fills a gap in the Salt Lake market," said Robert Schmidt with PEG Development.
