Roof replacement at 2 Mass. schools to cost more than $2.8M

The roofs at two schools in Raynham, Mass., will be replaced because of their deteriorating condition. The roofing projects will cost more than $2.8 million total, and school officials are seeking voters' approval of a tax exclusion worth nearly $1.3 million. The projects have received approval for a 55.6% reimbursement from the Massachusetts School Building Authority, said Jacqueline Forbes, the local school district superintendent.
